WeTransfer Advertising is hiring for a Global Accounts Lead to join the team at a significant time for our business. This role will shape the global account strategy for one of our largest verticals: Luxury Lifestyle & Design. This is a new position for WeTransfer Advertising, and as such we expect the successful candidate to play a crucial role in the implementation and impact of our vertical growth strategy for this vertical throughout 2022 and beyond. As Global Accounts Lead, you will take the lead on shaping the Global Account Strategy for our established Key Accounts within this vertical; brands that count amongst the biggest names within the Fashion, Beauty, Wellness and Lifestyle industries. Working closely with the Global Vertical Lead, you will both oversee and be accountable for the revenue, growth and predictability goals for all Key Accounts within this vertical. You will line manage a team of Account Directors and Account Managers, working to build predictability for this vertical with an emphasis on securing contract-based long term partnerships with our Key Accounts, and forging long-term, profitable relationships with senior client stakeholders. We are looking for a highly ambitious, strategic and innovative candidate with previous experience of managing a team of Account Managers, and with a background in growing repeat business with Luxury Fashion clients. You will be capable of maintaining oversight and structure in a fast-paced environment, and able to channel the skills & experience of your Account Management team in the most effective way possible to build predictability and sustainable growth for the Luxury Fashion vertical. You are up for the challenge of a fast-paced work environment, and have the charm and convincing power to secure and elevate partnerships with high value Luxury clients.
What you will be doing
Lead on shaping the Global Key Account Strategy for the Luxury Lifestyle & Design vertical, working closely with the Global Vertical Lead in Sales on the overall strategy and revenue/growth goals for this vertical
Collaborate closely with cross-functional leads (Strategy, Sales, Studio, AdTech, AdOperations) to represent the business needs for the Key Accounts within your vertical (resources, insights, product) and maximise the commercial potential of these accounts
Input on the future development of WeTransfer Advertising products, joining cross-functional teams to share the Luxury Lifestyle & Design vertical perspective and improve commercial viability
Grow the market presence of WeTransfer in the vertical, including by being present at relevant trade events, participating in both annual and quarterly sessions with Key Accounts within the vertical (in person whenever possible), and developing targeted materials from Studio to support our marketing efforts
Accountable for the revenue/growth targets for those Key Accounts within their vertical(s)
Own forecasting for the Key Accounts within your vertical to support overall WeTransfer Advertising forecasting and planning
Own senior level contract negotiations and objection handling with the Key Accounts within your vertical
Responsible for the line management, guidance and development of a team of Account Directors and Account Managers within the Vertical pod (4-6)
Guide and co-ordinate the efforts and workload of a dedicated team of Account Managers within this vertical
Build and foster client relationships with C and VP-level executives and key ecosystem players (eg media and creative agencies and technology partners) both internally at WeTransfer and externally on the client side
What you bring to the table
7+ years of experience in Advertising and Media Sales
4+ years’ experience working with senior decision makers within top tier agencies and brands
Experience working with Luxury Fashion, Beauty, Design clients in the French Market is a bonus
Track record of leading contract negotiations with high value advertising clients and creating lasting commercial partnerships with both brands and agencies
Track record in accurate pipelining and reaching sales targets
Experience leading and motivating a team of Account Managers
A clear understanding of the media landscape and a passion for understanding and isolating the opportunities for WeTransfer in the market
Fluent in English (written and verbal) is a must and other European language is nice to have
