UPSTREAM PROJECT LAUNCH DIRECTOR - ( 22000DQD )

You will join the Research and Development team at our site in Cergy, just a stone's throw from the RER station, at the heart of innovation and the automotive industry of tomorrow.

Missions

Challenge and coach the official Project Team to get green launches
Ensure Platform and P1 coordination in a weekly basis
Support the team to manage the budget (all Site resources concerned) including extra budget request
Report progress at the required frequency to the PG and also PMC & PSC with the official Project Manager
Participate to all reviews related to Platform and P1 synchronisation : Design, Process & logistic, PFMEA, TSC, PMC and if required prepare the crisis management meeting
To ensure SOP without issues of the Projects : Production readiness, components acceptance, Product Validation in respect of the Valeo standards managing launch dashboard
To support Operations crisis management on both Development and Manufacturing Sites : Genba review and team coaching on Project (PM and PTMs) to reach the KPI in terms of TLR, Non Quality costs, Product Validation and Components validation
For Customer communication, according to the situation the Cluster will decide whether he/she plays the interface role between the Project Team and the Customer or remains in back office
To set-up war room and manage it if required
Assess and secure the required resources to achieve the mission : request for the mission duration all human and material resources to the Entity in charge of the Project

Cluster Projects activity support

To support the Cluster Director with multiple Projects missions (Crisis management, Spice deployment and reporting, Audit…)
Contribute to deploy at Cluster level the Projects methodologies
By delegation, ensure Project Methodology trainings, support projects tools use and deployment

Promote and control application of Valeo Values, Culture and Standards (Product, Methodology, Tools) during project launches

Respect Valeo Code of ethics
Respect health, safety and environment charts and requirements
Ensure Project manufacturing development through activities defined in the Valeo Standards of Project Management

Education/Training

Engineering degree and deep knowledge of Product/Process (VPS, Process standards)
Personal skills to manage functional organization and ability to easily communicate within the PG organization
Valeo development methodology or similar
Quality standards (D & P FMEAs, AQP, Process, Logistic,…)

Professional Experience

Knowledge of Automotive development (more than 7 years)
Get successful development experience as P1 Project Manager (5 years) or P1 Senior PM / Site Projects Manager (3 to 5 years)
